How We Make Safari Real Estate Accessible
Safari is magical. It is a distinct asset class that exists alongside our beloved wildlife, places where you can disconnect and fully immerse yourself in a primal, raw, and untamed setting to experience something you had long forgotten about yourself.
This asset class typically provides three key benefits:
Strong returns
Impact by design
Exclusive access and additional perks for the investor.
Here is how we are making this accessible to the global community.
1. Packaging the Opportunity
We start by packaging the project from the ground up. We secure the licenses to operate inside African National Parks, invest in world-class architectural design, and identify trusted suppliers who can deliver beautiful properties on time and within budget. Then, we tell the story. We believe in the "ripple effect" of community. In Africa, community is the foundation of how things get done, so it only makes sense to share this opportunity with a global community of investors and connect the two.
2. "Bite-Sized" Entry Points
We take larger investments, typically reserved for established groups or family offices, and slice them into smaller, more accessible "bite-sized" tickets. So far we have investors who wanted to invest $100k or $200k, we have set our minimum at $50k. This allows more people to gain access to this asset class. We see it as a meaningful, responsible, and exciting complement to traditional portfolios of cash, bonds, and stocks.
3. Simplified Legal Structures
We make the legal process as seamless as it can be. We have worked closely with lawyers and accountants to develop an easy-to-execute structure for these assets. We offer a dedicated vehicle for US investors (such as a Delaware corporation) as well as a streamlined structure for international investors, so any investor regardless of their tax jurisdiction can participate.
4. Hassle-Free Management
We provide end-to-end management, from the initial construction to ensuring the properties stay fully booked with guests. We are physically on the ground; I personally stayed at the construction site during the build of our first two properties to monitor progress and course-correct in real-time. We have strong and established teams in sales, reservations, marketing, accounting, operations that make this easier.
Why do we do this?
We love what we do and want to share it with the world. We believe in matching great opportunities with investors who seek returns, meaning, and adventure. We believe in African communities that know how to steward wildlife but simply need the capital to do so. By bringing investment closer to the safari industry, we can support these local efforts and ensure that instead of losing these ecosystems, we help them multiply and thrive.
We noticed that many people who care deeply about Africa and its wildlife want to contribute after visiting on a trip. We wanted to enable them to invest in a productive, financially sustainable, and hopefully perpetual structure, a true win-win for everyone involved.
The world of safari has been 'locked' behind high barriers for too long. By creating an easy investment structure and handling the heavy lifting on the ground, we’re making it possible for you to own a piece of the safari and create lasting impact.
